ReplyDelete-Novel Reveries
Wow! It's like I've been in a book hole or something this year! I've read over 100 books but haven't heard of any of those either!! LOL I love learning about all of the great books i haven't gotten to yet! My TBR list is insane & keeps on growing!! hahaha :)
DeleteMy favorite read of 2012 was not written in 2012. It was "Murder of a Small Town Honey" by Denise Swanson. This book led me into a dramatic love for the Scumble River mystery series and a renewed love of cozy mysteries. I have devoured every book in the series to date which has led me to the latest in Denise Swanson's series called "Murder of a Cat's Meow." That released in September of this year. Loved it!!!! I got the most out of my reading of "An Untroubled Heart" by Micca Campbell. I had a lot of fear in me, and this book has helped dramatically. Well, I've gone on long enough. :) Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteOoh I've never heard of this series! I don't read too many mysteries and I scold myself because I used to love them... I'll have to check them out!!! Haha :)
DeleteThrone of Glass was my fave read. Why? Because it knocked my socks off. The story is compelling and the writing is excellent.
ReplyDeleteHaha knocking your socks off is definitely a sign of a great read!!!
DeleteMy favorite read (which was also my first ever review on my blog!) has been The Adults by Alison Espach. It's a beautiful novel about family, relationships, and growing up. It was actually a life-changing book for me this year, and made me learn a lot about the kind of writer I want to be! Thanks for the opportunity :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Danielle

ReplyDeleteOoh I haven't heard of that! My TBR list is going to grow like crazy!! haha
DeleteIt is a hard question, I have read so many great books this year. I would have to say Maria V Snyder in general, I read Touch of Power, Inside Out and Outside In all this year and loved them all. Her writing is amazing and so easy to read, they were all fantastic and took me inside their pages to their worlds so easily.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this awesome giveaway :)
Haha I know right?! It's hard to narrow down the list!
DeleteOooh I've never heard of her!! I'll have to check her out!!
Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read as much as I'd have liked this year, but I did pick up some great graphic novels.
Oooh I haven't read many of those! I really should pick up more of them though. Have any suggestions?
DeleteTwin Spica made me cry in a public library, I highly recommend it. However, it's going out of print, so it might be hard to track down, though I think it has a fairly large library presence. I Kill Giants is also really good (and not as violent as it sounds). Yotsuba&! is hilarious and pretty much universally-beloved (and probably at most libraries). The Underwater Welder and Sailor Twain were both just recently released, and are supposed to be wonderful, but I haven't finished either.
DeleteI'm not sure if the giveaway is international. Either way happy 100 followers! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Thank you for asking! I completely forgot to specify in my post! I've updated it to make sure everyone knows :)

DeleteMy favorite read of 2012 has been Rift by Andrea Cremer. Not only did I love the Nightshade series, but she went back and wrote a spin off to give her readers a background of some of the characters from that series. Rift is set in one of my favorite time frames to read about and I just love how creative and funny it is. I've also enjoyed several other books. There are just too many to mention. Thank you! Happy Holidays!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your achievement! May you have many many loyal followers!
Slammed and Point of Retreat are my favorite read this year because they're so romantic.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite read of the year was The Fault In Our Stars. It is now actually my fav book. I think I never loved a book this much. It can be because of the way it was written, the topic, I don't know, all of it. I love John Green to death! :p

I'm a hug fan of the fever series and even when this one was with a different main character it was awesome!

I'm going to go with Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. It was just SO good, and I love when a book automatically makes you want to read any and everything that author has come out with. Thanks for the giveaway!
